We, Thanasis and Judith Ktistakis, have been running our apartment and car rental business together in Kalamaki and Kamilari since 1991.
Over the years, a great deal has happened and changed. Our small family business has grown from a small motorcycle rental office into an important company in the region. With our second office in Heraklion, we are able to offer our guests even better and faster service throughout the island. We have documented the gradual development below as an overview.
Meeting guests from many different countries and professions continues to bring us great joy. For us, exchanging ideas with our guests also means sharing a little of our everyday habits and life here in Kalamaki and Kamilari, Crete - Greece. We live by the sea, but also in the countryside, where we keep a few animals such as chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, and more. We also cultivate our olive grove, produce our own olive oil, have a small vineyard, and make our own red wine (Cabernet and Syrah). We would be happy to give you a glimpse into our hobbies and daily life.
